Rascals is a family run nursery, owned by sisters Elaine Bose and Julie Vines, both qualified and experienced in Childcare & Education. The nursery opened its doors in December 1998. Manager Sharon Linton has been with the nursery from the very start and through hard work and dedication now has the responsibility for the day to day running of the nursery, along with the nursery owners. You will always find one of them on the nursery premises.
With appropriate guidance from our experienced staff children learn to have fun with language, literacy and numeracy, through books, songs, games, crafts and activities and by asking questions, describing, explaining and experimenting, they become eager and enthusiastic learners.
Through this stimulating and fun environment we aim to encourage your child to develop to his/her full potential, ready for their next step up the educational ladder. We also work collaboratively with outside agencies, should any child require further support to reach their potential.
We wanted to create a nursery environment that was safe; nurturing with plenty of learning opportunities, with the needs of the children being paramount. Together with qualified, committed and enthusiastic staff we have built the nursery to provide a high standard of child care and education
